AGES 6 WEEKS TO 6 YEARS OLD
Delmarva Early Learning Center was established in 2019, by Owner/Director Jill Bounds. She is local to Salisbury and has always had a passion for early childhood education. With over 15+ years experience in day care/child care, Delmarva offers Grades Nursery through Pre School age care, with Summer care available as well. Delmarva brings children in to a safe, high quality learning environment. She implemented a state of the art technology called Brightwheel, an app that allows open communication between teachers and parents throughout the day with daily reports and photos. Delmarva is accredited through the Maryland Department of Education and is an EXCELS level 5 learning center, which serves 6 week olds through 6 year olds.
Delmarva ELC is a licensed facility maintained for the purpose of serving our community by providing parents the peace of mind that their child is well cared for in a loving, nurturing and safe learning environment. We also wish to enrich the children we serve by providing positive learning experiences they can carry with them for the rest of their lives. Our goal is to be the best provider of childcare services in the community we service. We intend to achieve these goals by always providing on going education and training to our staff members. All employees are required to complete classes to enhance their knowledge of early childhood development and educational techniques.
We believe that each child is a special and unique individual. Sensitivity to a child’s needs in all areas including social, emotional, intellectual, and physical factors is necessary to properly serve each child’s special needs. Developmentally appropriate activities are designed for each age group to help children enjoy successful learning.
Our classes are carefully crafted to meet the development needs of each and every child. Our educators and support staff are highly professional and trained.
We provide a great space for the toddlers to grow and learn.
Very energetic and always on the move. We provide structured fun, learning experiences.
We provide a base learning path for preschool age children with hands-on learning experiences.
This is where a core foundation for kindergarten is formed. Forming high-level skill development.
We provide child care over the summer for school aged children. Kids love our summer programs.
We provide before school and after school care for kids.
The app shows parents the daily activitiy of the children such as lunch, educational and fun activities.
We send reminders for events or changes at the center that effect your child.
Open communication between parent and teacher is important.
